here are just pics I snapped off my TV.
So, clearly some sort of AK with what appears to be a branded folding stock, a front end that covers the barrel and gas tube, and continues all along the top of the dust cover.
Based on the angle of the magazine, and gut instinct, I think it's built around an AK-74, which uses smaller caliber bullets than an AK47, that are more in line with .223/5.56 rounds from an M4 (because they're smaller bullets, the magazine doesn't/can't have as sever a bend in it, which is caused by 7.62 Ak rounds being hella fat at the back end); also, sweeping the room with the safety on. CTAC gotta confirm a target before they go hot

.

[Edit] whatever stock that is, it appears to be "paratrooper" or some other type meant to be fired while folded closed. so folds to the right side of the rifle. the reason the stock looks bent is because it leaves room for the grip on the bolt to cycle, and for spent rounds to kick out, while folded. if it folded flat, you couldn't shoot the gun with it folded down.
just to show the partially exposed barrel inside the bottom shroud. that light in the sight is actually from the helmet
I also want to say the narrower front on the magazine is common for AK74 mags, instead of AK47 mags.
this horrible blurry pic is just to show that for some reason, in this ONE view, the sight appears to be lit up red. this is also a scene where the actor is not wearing a helmet, so it shouldn't be reflected light from his lid.
and a big honking rail along the top
