Why is it they have newer versions of light cycles, solar sailers and recognizers...but no tanks?

The tanks were my fave vehic and I hadn't even thought about them not being shown... :(

Maybe for part 3? :)

Not only are the tanks shown in some of the Evolution gameplay footage, in the Comic Con/Tron Night scene shown, Sam looks through the clear floor of the recognizer he is picked up in, and there's a tank driving the streets.

On a side note anyone else notice tron in white in some of the video game trailers? Is he who you play as in evolution?

Yeah, that's the problem. This is potentially a very big spoiler and it's fairly obvious who's going to be behind that mask.

You don't play Tron in Evolution, you play Anon, a security monitor program written by Kevin Flynn.

nickytea, thanks for confirming that at least one tank makes an appearence, albeit a brief one.
And good to hear gridbugs make it back in the game.
