I wear my shield on my harness also. I have several different variations. It's essential haha. My arms hurt after awhile of carrying my shield. Slung haha View attachment 446564

I figured I would leave my last Captain variation costume I put together. I had a stealth suit commissioned and it didn't end up fitting so I was stuck throwing this together last minute for a Halloween costume contest me and some friends entered as a group...The Avengers of course. The shield I made out of a steel flexible flyer. I purchased a faux leather harness from ebay and then attached a 95lb pull magnet to both the shield and harness. The shield holds perfectly to the back this way and will not come off unless you want it to. I am selling this shield and harness as a set because I have another harness coming in from RPF member Kingsley and will be building a new shield. PM me if interested. I also have a suit being commissioned by SMP Designs. Everyone else's suits look great on here.
Hey man, your set up looks great! Mind if I ask what magnets you used? And maybe get a link to the same ones or where you found them? Trying to do the same with my shield and that same harness. haha
Thanks,
Aeric
I do the leatherwork, if you are interested.View attachment 438764 something similar to this will be my next acquisition. I don't have that skill!

Hey man,
I used two 95 pound pull magnets I purchased at harbor freight. I picked them up in store but this link should be the exact same ones.

It wouldn't let me copy and paste the link so I copied it over by hand..hopefully it's right. I used duct tape on the side of each magnet that makes contact with the other as a buffer to make it a little easier to pull apart. These are very strong and hold the shield up no problem when you line them up properly. Good luck.
