Aliens Sulaco in paper

I was so taken back by the incredible genius in the studio scale model of the Sulaco I started tapping on google and found this site where the guy has created a studio sized Sulaco in paper. It looks like he is releasing it in stages for people to build on their own.

This might help aid someone wanting to do their own in plastic as a template. I wanted to share this just encase no one had seen it.

Here is the website:

Thanks for sharing this James - I too was taken aback by Leukrix' Sulaco! Simply fantastic! This might just be the key for us to having our own monster in the living room.

If someone could use it as a template for the correct sizing it might help out. You would still have an enormous amount of kit bashing for it. Supports throughout both models scare me more than the models.

Yes, Jan Rukr's amazing 1.7 meter Sulaco :cool:love. I've been following the thread over on Zealot.com and saving the bi-weekly release of parts as they come out. I'm thinking of turning it into a foam/styrene model at the same scale, when I can, as well as doing the paper version. :wacko:confused

This is the thread link. Hopefully it will work. USS Sulaco / Aliens - Zealot Hobby Forum

Well worth a look at the rest of his stuff if anyone hasn't seen it before.

ALIENS Papercraft-paprov modely

He's done the Hadley's Hope colony plus the vehicles and the communications array, the apc, the dropship, pulse riflle and the smart gun and more. I think some are not available at the moment as he's still working on them.

I've used the apc files as one of my references for my own scratch build version, a 1/12 scale AA version - M5790 with a quad 20mm gatling instead of the laser turret. Still doing the drawings on this as and when I can.
