I've heard from numerous kids that this is a nightmare to build. From what I've seen of the instructions and the amount of ink it requires, I'd rather buy a solid one.

Great model in the long run, though.

I actually downloaded his PDFs on building it and am tempted but it's the ink cost that scares me. I'd end up finding a way to spray paint it instead.

i follow his work on a papercraft forum. Currently he's designing a studio scale sulaco model, also made in the same style.

looks so good, and is 1.75 metres long!

I was thinking that at high res to print this out it would take probably at least 2 carts of each color and that's about 70.00 at least for my printer if not more.
