After an EFX Reveal Luke Skywalker Lightsaber.

Hi guys, does anyone know what the chances are of these getting another run?

they're going for on average $2000 on ebay which is far too much, I was wondering if (as the experienced collectors most of you are) what you think the chances are of getting another run from EFX, or another company that does high quality work like them? It seems as though they've halted all production and development (E.G their Obi-Wan and ESB Lightsabers never seemed to have been released)

Chances are probably zero . . . eFX has not delivered much on any of there 'future' prop plans . . . so ebay is your only option for a quick score or the Junkyard if someone is in need of cash ... I was lucky to get an eFX Luke Reveal via the Junkyard before prices went sky-high.

The eFX Luke Reveal lightsaber was also a limited edition of 1,000. So there will not be another run from eFX. Your options now are eBay or some extremely well done fan made ones. Keep checking the Project Runs section here on the RPF for those. Or keep checking the Junk Yard section for someone selling theirs.
I was also very lucky to score mine from BBTS, less than a week before the prices went through the roof.

edit: the benefit of going this route is you could spread the cost over months/years(?). Get the roman props saber, assemble it, weather it. Then go talk to another builder and get them to build you a sweet crystal chamber. You know, the journey is the adventure and all that jazz!

Well then nix that idea Still, I'm in the midst of building my own crystal chamber from scratch and it's not nearly as daunting as one might think! Believe and you shall succeed my friend.
