Hi there,
I don't know if this is possible but I thought I would ask the question anyway.
I've been sculpting over a year now and I'm slowly getting better. I attend a class at a local community centre that has access to a kiln. All the sculptures I make are fired. ( I use wet clay).
I don't have the space or money to make moulds of any of my sculptures and I was wondering if anyone has applied fake hair to a clay fired sculpt? I would really like to try and give my sculptures a bit more of a real look (head of hair, eyebrows beards, etc) but I'm totally unsure as to what hair to use, how to attach it etc. I'm in the UK and have searched Ebay, etc for fake hair but it really looks synthetic. Is there a preferred type of hair to use?
Anyone tried this before?
Thanks.
