Adam Savage on Youtube

If you do it hollow cast you could fill it with a heavier mix to mimic the original better.

Maybe fill it up most the way with resin or whatever filler and then add a big chunk of iron near he base so that it's not top heavy?

Thanks for that YouTube link. Adam's an amazingly intelligent/talented guy and I thoroughly enjoyed those YouTube videos!

I would be extremely grateful for a resin casting when the time comes. I'd also love to hear you speak about propmaking of any sort if an event should happen in the SF Bay Area.

Maybe rotocasting would be the best, for the buyers anyway. It would be light, so that shipping wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. Then the buyer could fill it with something cheap and heavy himself, plaster and a block of lead, or whatever.
Would it be possible to do "cold-roto-casting", i.e. rotocasting with metal powder?

I watched the whole series (1-12) on YouTube. It was very entertaining and inspriring.
I wound up watching the entire series as well. I love the fact that Adam is so enthusiastic about the science involved in their experiments and isn't self-conscious (or doesn't appear to be) about his exuberance.

BTW Adam, if/when the resin Falcon replicas come to fruition, I'm definitely interested in at least one. And my most sincere thanks to Mythbusters for making knowledge cool!

Hey Adam,
I know your busy and might not be able to reply, but do you collect
mostly paper props or do you collect everything like us?

Oh and while I'm asking :) Since you worked for Uncle George, were you able to
get any really good props from the archives. Legally I mean :D LOL

Great Video! I got a good laugh out of it.. It also goes to show that
you love Accuracy as much as we do..
