I've been asked to do another run of the accessory kit. I will only do enough for those who order by Friday April 24th, see below for more info:
We've learned a few things doing this and I'm altering the kit just a bit, the new kit will include:
The kit includes:
- 2 red LED strips (for the eyes). These strips can be cut down to fit in the eye rings. They have 3M tape on them and will easily just stick in place. You can either run with 3 LEDs of with 6 LEDS, be sure to only cut every 3 LEDs
- 2 eye rings. These rings will glue into the back of the eyes (as was done in the real movie helmet) and will provide a place for the LED strips to go into
- an on/off switch for the LEDs
- a 3D printed switch holder that can be glued into the inside of the helmet. It's been designed for easy soldering and running of the wires.
- a 9 volt battery clip
- a strip of wiring to complete the circuit
- a strip of 1 1/2 inch flexible strapping (to hold the front of the helmet onto your head). In the 1st run we included some hooks, in my experience they didn't really help, I ended up just gluing my strapping to the side of the helmet, no "hooks" needed.
- 8 rare earth magnets for attaching the back. We used velcro 1st run because we were worried the magnets may not be strong enough, in my experience, they've been great, so I'm now including magnets
All this is still available for $30.00, no shipping if bought with helmet. If not, $10.00 shipping anywhere.
So, I need from you:
1) A commitment to buy, in the form of a PM (to me rgriesbeck) with the title star lord accessory pack, please include your real name too, so I can match up to PP
2) A PP payment to rgriesbeck@sd35.bc.ca of $30.00 (and I'd prefer friends & family). If you've already got your helmet, please add $10 for shipping and include your shipping address
