Does he or does he not have a conviction on his record?
So what... He never did anything wrong to the RPF or the community.
He was banned for the wrong reasons. The same wrong reasons you continue to CHAMPION today.
Does he or does he not have a conviction on his record?
As to how I paid less the retail?
The irony here is that after this comment was posted long ago...
I sent AA several emails with questions, with almost all going unanswered... The only ones he replied to were ones that I suggested I was interested in purchasing... Some were even set from anonymous email addresses so he had no identifiable link back to me, so I can say his lack of reply wasn't personal... Never once did he offer a discount of even a single penny, even when I inquired...
I believe for anyone to have got the discount price or priority purchasing advantage there is a little more to the story...
Exactly my point Flynn and then to have Lord A claim that it never even happened. As well as call me a liar in the process makes you wonder what's up.
Still stands. I like how you kept that screen cap but not what I said later. Very selective Ben...and disappointing. I guess your animosity against me was greater than I thought. Have fun with your imagined conspiracies Ben.
Like was said before, nobody wins.
Mike I have no animosity for you. But you are the one that claims that I am lying about you getting a helmet for under retail. I don't take kindly to anyone calling me a liar. I bring out the proof and you can't own up to it. The only conspiracy I see here is you claiming it never happened.
You know Ben you've brought up that lie about the discount helmet before and I've refuted it before, even showing my original quote which showed I never got any discount.
Oh, the lie isn't that I got a discount, I did-
Oh, the lie isn't that I got a discount, I did and I've explained that one several times in past threads as to how. The lie is that you constantly claim I got the discount because I was supporting and/or advertising for AA and he cut me a deal to do so, and of course whip out that capture. That's the lie, and it still stand because you are still claiming that even though I explained it.
And I'm sorry Ben, but what else can I think about how you feel about me when you keep pushing that over and over again? No animosity? Sad really as I thought we were friends, and I always enjoyed being around you at the conventions and having fun at them when I was able to go.
That's what I meant by nobody wins. Gino's right (yes, Gino and I agree on something)...there have been a lot of good relationships, friendships, and even just friendly acquaintances ruined because of some white plastic helmets. It's actually very sad when you put it in perspective.
So make up, shuffle up the teams, and get ready to fight about something new.
Go look at TE's post on the propden if you want to see a jerk
I hate to say it, but ALL of the posts regarding banned members need to go. This thread is NOT about them. I have been very magnanimous about the whole crow thing, but right now, it seems like the Pro-AA crowd is trying to turn this around to focus on issues that do not apply to the thread. Again, it's about the AA case, his attempted theft of credit for work he did not do, and the outcome of the case, which we should know about soon.
EXACTLY!!!
Here's some stuff I just wanted to put out there. These are my own scattered random personal feelings about the topic at hand.
-I never had, nor do I now have hate for AA.
-The SDS situation has always been a hot topic because there has been so much unnecessary debate over things that were crystal clear for people like me and a few others from day one. And despite all our attempts to communicate what we knew, it fell on deaf ears to a good number of people.
-There is nothing more frustrating than knowing the truth about a subject, and have people not believe you, or worse ban you from a forum (prop den :unsure) for (sometimes painfully, yet unintentionally) pointing it out to them. I realize my posts can sometimes be considered offensive, but most of the time it is just my frustration directed at specific people.
I'd much rather have people believe what I'm saying 'in the now', than to be able to say 'I told you so' years later.
-I do not have hate for the pro AA people. Just frustration that they didn't have faith in my knowledge. Also that they didn't believe that my desire to have access to accurate pieces FAR overrides my desire to make them. Anyone who knows me on a personal level, can tell you this was never about competition, sour grapes, etc..
In other words, we all had the same goal (to have the most accurate pieces possible in our collections), but they just couldn't get past their personal issues with me to see what I was saying was true.
-Had AA actually had the molds he claimed to, I would have been his #1 cheerleader, and every trooper piece in my collection would be from him.
-The most significant thing that separates AA from anyone else in this hobby, is that he basicly was saying the trooper was his design and not LFL's, and that he had every right to do whatever he wanted with it. I don't know of any SW prop maker who would EVER dare make such a claim.
-I can't speak for others, but I never viewed AA as competition. My extremely limited handful of helmets/armor made available to friends or trusted collectors is no match for someone involved in a full business production. Nor did I, or would I ever want it to be.
If ever I were to be involved in a all out business production on anything, it would ONLY be in conjunction with a licensed company. (I've just never been asked).
-My personal issues with AA stem from:
1. Him lying about the molds (and my disappointment that came with that revelation).
2. Recasting fan produced trooper armor and calling it 'original'.
3. Taking credit for Liz M. sculpt.
4. Being the cause for such contorversy, fighting, and damaged personal relationships with people I used to be cool with.
Hopefully in time, some of that damage can be repaired. It already has with some and I'm thankful for that.

Evidently you are misinforming the RPF and are making out you have no clue why you were banned.
