A Whole Slew Of Bio Design Await Your Eyes.

The cyclops got it! The balance what a predator mask needs. Also the organic and outer space links are good. Go for it! The only thing what could be altered are the tubings. You have to think or making them soft and moveable (partly see trough) or sturdy and metal like.

Hey thanks for the encouragement Ancient.

I was trying to get the tubing to look good on the Bio when I drew it out, but kind of slacked on it. Oh well... just reference anywho.

Here is another Bio I came up with last night. It won't have a targeting site on it (yet) I liked the way it looked this way. Let me know what you think people.

Don't let the dark underneath fool you... tried to make it look like the Bio was raised off the page. This is all I can do in an hour.

Hey... thank you for the comment.

I am getting closer to making a full size mask and Bio. Received my mannequin head in the mail today. Now to wait for the taxes to get me some clay.

I think I am going to order through the Monster Makers (even though the shipping will be insane... like 40.00+ because of the weight). I am getting very excited and hope I can pull a good sculpt off. I will also look to be ordering molding materials (if anyone want's to point me in that direction... hint, hint, ).

Hey thanks Wul White. I dig your designs as well.

Here is another I am currently working on.

I call it the 'HORDAK' because when I started on it, it reminded me of the M.o.t.U character of the same name.

I really like your designs, they're very different. In a way I'm studying them and other work like Wang's Ceremonial bio, Wul White's designs to try and grasp designing a bio in organic form. Keep up the great artwork!

Good luck with the real clay sculpting REYALS! :) I was thinking of doing the same in the near future.

It'll be awesome to see your ideas translate to something that is tangible in real life :)

I sincerely appreciate the comments guys. (y) I need to get clay and prep my mind for the journey into that medium of sculpting 3 dimensional objects.

I can't remember who said it (it was posted somewhere in response to something I said) but I really do hope that..."if you know how to draw then you know how to sculpt".

Seriously though, having the artistic individuals of this community respond to my work and make positive comments on my style and work, really drives my ambition to actually create something that we all can look at and go... "Now that's pretty f'ing coo".

I am so glad that most of us have something to offer though. To me, seeing everyone else's abilities makes me a lot more secure in wanting to show what I have and even try to expand on it. Without all others on here who create, like yourselves, this place wouldn't be what it is today... and I give praise to all of you who appreciate "coo chit" when you see it.

 LONG LIVE THE CLAN OF 'THE HUNTERS LAIR'.... (I know... corny). ;)

Hordak looks great 2. But I see that you weren't sure about the extra on the chin. My advice is or..make it wider and a bit bulkier. Or cut the whole section from chin with the nose part of! You get a sort of half open helmet idea.

I haven't finished that one yet actually. It was something I started working on... then got side tracked because I tend to jump around like a wabbit a lot, but I do see the open faced idea you are speaking of. That would look cool, I will design one without the "snout" area. (y)

I did however start another one... which grabbed my attention more than the 'Hordak'.

of course this one isn't finished either (almost was but my work was interrupted and lost my progress...so I have to re-do everything I had done, eeergh!!!).

Decided this is what I was shooting for with that last design.

Okay ladies and Gent's...

I got the Bio up top looking as I wanted and upon "doodling" this came off o' my stylus and out of my hand.

Really quick at about 6 min. I was like... "whoa, I just drew a sort of Kung-Fu film looking Pred".

Looks a little too on the human side but if you can tell the dreads are their and the Bio is there also.

I hope you like it.

...still no tax return for clay...

Okay... this is completely ridiculous but I couldn't resist.

My son was watching the Power Rangers and I couldn't help but notice how over the top the designs are on the villains, so... I came up with this...

Well yo's... I think I decided which bio I am going try my hand at.

I am still awaiting my returns to order clay so I can attempt this bio. In the meantime I decided to do something other then draw more bios on my phone and picked up a pencil and paper hoping for a miracle...and decided to start a drawing of what the bio I chose to attempt would look like on a PREDATOR.

This is the beginning...

Phone pic so it is not the greatest...

I really enjoy seeing your bios lately, your on fire!

The last one though, I hate to say that the teeth remind me a bit of the rabbit in Donnie Darko. Im loving the crown and in the front pic I didnt see the rabbit-thing, but on the side pic... sorry. (Unless you are going for that, then cool! :D )
Could you try removing the teeth or put a few away, maybe only have them on the side or front? Im loving the shape and layers other then that. :)

LOL... yeah... I was looking at that too. I am going to change it up so it doesn't look so "darko-ish", lol. thanks though. It means a lot to me to hear some positive criticism on this.

Okay... as the wait for clay commences and the sketching is frustrating me I went ahead with this.

I call it 'The Red'... nothing too spectacular but I liked it and that is why I posted it. :)

Thanks Nicole. Now that you mention it, it does look as though it could be made for a female Pred. Hmmm... I did order some clay (even though I encourage whoever to help themselves to any of these designs if they feel like sculpting one or taking from them... as long as I get some props ).

Here is another I am calling 'Wide Eyes'. Eye really like this design. The under crown is just what it would look like if a head was beneath it.
