A really comfortable Star Wars costume...

How many can say that?

After all the armor costumes (Fett, etc.), I call this Star Wars Leisure Wear (not to be confused with a 'Leisure Suit'- another style from the 70s).

Perfect for hanging out at SW conventions or going to 'Tosche station to pick up some power converters'.

Very nice costume!

I find the X-Wing pilot costume is pretty comfy as well. A few more layers, but way more comfortable to troop long term compared to the tupperware.

I like your pouches. Custom made or found?

That's absolutely fantastic! One of the single most recognizable extras in the OT!

Do you do ice cream maker guy, too?:lol

LOL!! and your character got LOts of screen time too!..

He actually gets more screen that most of the Cantina creatures; you can see him walking around during the entire sequence of Luke and co. approaching the cantina, and then once again outside the cantina in one other shot.

Also, I forgot to say special thanks to Vince of Corellian Exports creating the custom vest for me!

Fixer had a comfy looking costume and looksd pretty cool.
Looks like a modified M1-A flight jacket.
But who the hell would recognize him but the hardcore?
Then again, is there any other kind of SW fan?

I considered a Fixer costume, but haven't done it for the reason you mention. At least my 'Mr. Mose Eisley' costume is unmistakingly 'Star Wars' looking and he was actually in the finished film. Fixer is a bit farther removed than than. But then again, how many EU costumes have people done that are pretty unrecognizable? (I consider myself pretty hardcore, but I can't ID many SW EU costumes I see now-a-days)

However, I'd like to put together a larger 'Tatooine wardrobe', including Fixer's jacket. I have similar black jacket that I'm going to try modify- I seem to already have the rest of the costume anyway!

Looks great! I have this one that's similar to yours - my Sharad Hett costume minus the bucket:

Speaking of comfortable costumes, I also have this one I threw together last Halloween. :)

You're a man after my own heart with that costume- you even have a hydrospanner hangin on your belt! How many times did you have to tell people that it isn't a lightsaber?

The ICMG costume is great also- although you look a little, er... 'pale' for the part, don't you?
