Having a tagline is silly. Honestly, if you want one, go with:

"It's kind of a grey area, legally...."

I much prefer the logo that's there already. Personally I think design wise it's much more interesting than the new one. Although that 3D look in the 20th century spoof above actually looks pretty cool. Like a stack of raw materials morphing into the RPF name. If it was simplified in rendering it could be interesting.

The new logo is okay, I can see the potential, but please, drop the tag line. It's pretty weak. When I first read it it made me wince and groan in contempt, literally. Even after reading it for over 8 pages of discussion it failed to grow on me. I certainly wouldn't wear it on a t-shirt.

Here's my little take on the new logo with a 'space' theme and a ST-TMP theme. I put them on my iPhone.

I used vector base, but the final picture is converted to jpg (pixel base). I created two vector templates, postive and negative (as the picture of the avatar above shown).

The santa also vector based, so it can be enlarged without having pixelation problem.

Okay, first .... know that as a fellow designer I HATE when people do this to me .... and this is of course total coincidence. But I saw a real estate sign on the way to work today. With this logo. It means nothing ... Just caught my eye.
