A New Hope Darth Vader.

Around 24 months ago I decided to build a 1:1 scale ANH Darth Vader to add to the old SW collection, here is a presentation of the finished article in true ANH style. The proportions of the suit was built using Dave Prowse's exact dimensions and luckily for me a good friend of mine who's proportions are very similar and also a little bit keen on SW volunteered for the shoot.

Hope you like the results, afterwards we both certainly had a much better appreciation of the effort it must have taken to wear this costume on set at the time, hat's off to you Dave.

I still think Vader is one of the all time best bad guys ever to grace the big screen.

Very, very nice. You have all the nuances in check.
Now you just need to break that leather in a bit and it really will look screen used

Looks great. I'm working on a ANH Vader myself. All I have right now is the helmet, chest armor, shin armor, and gloves. Ditto on wanting to know what parts you used.
