On the topic of pulls from the ILM mold, some here seemed to think that such pulls are representative of something that is cleaned up or that doesn't reflect the original ANH as it appeared on the Tantive IV scenes. That would be an incorrect assumption. Here's yet another illustration of the level of detail such a pull has.
Take a closeup of a screencap of the Tantive IV mask, take note of what is inside the vertical rectangle to the right of the C-scar, and enlarge that area as seen in a straight on view of the original mask in a promo image (middle image). The small square inside the rectangle on the Tantive IV screencap is the lower square on the closeup image, and within that is a detail leaning at a 45 deg angle to the left, as seen in the promo closeup, albeit of still low resolution or as some here like to say, "fuzzy". The top square in the closeup just shows a larger circular bump that isn't visible in the Tantive screencap but that's just a lighting thing...it just provides another fiduciary mark so I could line up the leaning detail. And the right image shows that same leaning detail, in, well, more detail.

It actually consists of two angled elongated profiles instead of one, another illustration of the limitation of resolution. So if such detail exists in that area, then anything to the left, below, or to the right within a few millimeters would also be the original surface as seen onscreen.
No cleanup. Original detail.
