5 Questions with George Lucas

That's exactly how I felt in 2008 when the cgi Clone Wars film came out. I was done with Star Wars from then on.

Hooooookay.

The man has become Michael Jackson.

Funny you mention this. I use Michael Jackson as an example when referring to the original trilogy.
They both started off great but slowly changed in appearence over time (though the talent was always there) until now it just looks like a monster.

That about sum it up?

Somebody give this man a medal.

I haven't seen the movie for Clone Wars, is it that bad? The TV show is better than the prequels in my opinion and stand damn well on it's own, what's the difference? Lack of GL involvement in the TV show?

If could give your post points, I would.

Lucas knows that "It's just a movie" is not true. There is a series of movies at the heart of a world wide phenomenon that literally changed people lives, yes. Journey 2 is just a movie. Star Wars is a beloved part of world culture. And Lucas has been cashing the checks from every part of star wars that is NOT a movie. He knows damn well that "It's just a movie" is not going to cut it. And also, it's not cold blooded murder when you are defending yourself. Shooting first is still defending yourself. Greedo was going to blast him.
