Just saw some ads for these devices and after seeing the globe lamp that was made by assembling layers of cardboard I immediately thought they would be perfect for quickly making sci-fi type helmets like Master Chief or Destiny.
Wondering if anyone has done this?
I saw this software can be used. Not sure how it works.... if you have a 3D model and it slices it into a pre-determined number of pieces?
If it's that simple, I'm also wondering if it would be better to slice left to right or top to bottom.
