300 - Immortal Swords

hello there, i wanted to share my latest WIP, the Xerse's Immortal' swords. I'm making them from MDF and steel, they are not very very accurate, but they'll do the job!

Any suggestion for the paint job? How to make them dull black and not ruin everything? Spray paint will be ok?
