Okay, so after some prodding fom fellow modelers I decided to re-do some of my Sulaco parts. I accurized the rail guns top and bottom using Roco minitanks. The engine pedals were CNC'd for me by a fellow modeler, many thanks, he also CNC'd the two side discs. The detail is unbelievable. I've also re-worked the main fuselage. The main section is just a rectangular slug that detail pieces will be attached to. Doing it this way allows more of the detail to come thru and also gives the model a crisper look. The side panels are added on in layers instead of a one piece design. I've also added to front detail pices that get sandwiched together at the front end just behind the probes. Speaking of the probes I had them laser cut and are now a one piece design instead of two pieces like the first. I've also reworked the two arms making them a one piece design with detail plates to be added underneath. Lastly, the middle section is a one piece design for added stability along with a new and accurate generator that sits atop the piece. Here is a link to my photobucket with all the masters and first castings.
