Is the 2 bolt static solution sketch still going to be posted? Possibly interested but need to know how this will work.
Thank-you!
Hey Rudy
Any chance you can get 8/32 threaded holes drilled on the clamp spacer for the transistors? Might have to widen the post on the spacer to accommodate that. Make it a little easier for install. I tried to get the spacer piece off but I can't even get it to budge to mod it myself. I don't want to force it and chance breaking it :confused
put me down as definitely interested as well. i'm also in the switch kit if that can be done here too.![]()
so, quick question. although i have a few static hilts, i am new to putting electronics in. i will use the Roman FX hilt with this crystal chamber and will also get the switch kit with the chamber if possible. what else will i need to make this light up like the video in the first post? is there another run i should be buying from as well? thanks!
I would check out this thread (link below) that has some wiring diagrams and some other options. Mars made his spring loaded and said its really easy to add. For the lights you will need a battery, a recharge port (if desired or you can take the battery out to charge), a speaker, some 28 gauge (i think) wire, a switch and some LED's. Or if you want just a light with no sound, you can use a swicth, battery, LED's and some resistors. (or buy LED's with resistors already in them).

Yea the spacers are really tight, use a Dowell and pop it off that's how I remove them, The reason why I didn't thread the resistors to the spacer was to try to give everyone the option on how they wanted to display their chambers because if I threaded them it their would only be one way to display them, im still trying to come up with a way of new transistors but I think I will have to prob offer a new spacer with the threading option.
