I've got one. It's a big heavy carbon steel monster. It's worth $25, probably more accurate than the licensed version as well.

I ordered one back in December...just got it this past Friday. I got it just under the wire as I know Museum Replicas sent them a C&D on this item.
Overall, it's very nice. the handle is large enough to hold it with both hands. It comes unsharpened and it looks like it has a very rough texture...which makes it look really cool!!!

I cannot urge you enough to stay away from this crap. BudK's swords are utter garbage. Every item I have ever ordered from BudK turned out to be defective in some way, most recently (though some time ago now) a sword I ordered whose wooden handle was cracked, the fit and finish on which were incredibly shoddy.

Well what do you expect for the price??? A high quality, battle ready piece? At that price I would EXPECT there to be flaws and defects. :rolleyes

I got their sword that resembles the Operative's, and it's only slightly less accurate than the official one, for a fraction of the cost. (Or rather, the official one is only slightly more accurate, which is another story altogether.)

I have ordered a few times from BudK and never had a problem. Great stuff for the price. Fun to order something once in a while without having it need to be an investment due to the cost.
Great wall hanger swords, and tons of fun stuff for young boys (my 10 year old nephew loves the company:love)

Any chef will tell ya that a dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp one

I've bought from BudK in the past with no problems.. nothing museum worthy but its (generally) worth what you pay.

I keep one or two of their catalogues in the bathroom along with a couple from Bugei.com (much better quality)

Yea BudK's stuff isn't top notch but lets face it, who expects a freak sword for $25? Your not gonna get anything worth much for less than $400.
