Not checked in for a while so just looked to see if there are any updates. 15th of July you say Mark for the jackets to be done or round about that date? Seems to me July is looking rather sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet!! I suppose you will be asking for the payment balances once you have got the jackets back and checked them for quality and defects? My credit card is gonna hate me but my BTTF collection is gonna love me. The wife might leave me though! Only kidding, she is pretty understanding about my obsession.

hi guys,

it took me 30 mins to hand sew a section of the waist belt onto the jacket & it works! I'm going to divide my waist belt into 3 sections; front left, front right & back, I personally think the jacket will look nicer this way :thumbsup as you see from the pics, my plastic belts are not thick & bulky at all...

Don't forget to gather the jacket up a bit Mark. You don't want it to hang dead straight, and be as wide at the waist as it is at you arm pits.

as you see from the pics, my plastic belts are not thick & bulky at all...

They might not be a lot thicker, but they are thicker than the real ones. Do you think a belt sander would work, or would it tear them up too much?

I have never worked with a belt sander before, in my opinion, the plastic belt looks fine

That's right. I guess that would mean making the belts shorter to take the gathered material wouldn't it so the waist looks tapered as it does on Michael J Fox?
