Hello everyone,

My name is Fred, I live in Paris, and I'm a fan of sci-fi films.
I like very much this site, there are wonderful things.
　
I would like to share with you my latest creation
　
　
2-ZH surgical droid ( home made )
　
　
I like a lot the style of this droid
　
　

Several years ago I came across the concept of 2-1B from Ralph
McQuarrie.
　
　

....I thought why not make by modifying it a bit to be portable, I made a mix of both with the C-Z3

After a year of work, I am pleased to present my costume entirely homemade (PVC pipes , resin, ..),

the2-ZH surgical droid .

The weathering is fantastic, although I would have issue with a Surgical droid being so dirty LOL!!:lol

Thank you very much for your messages.

I will start for the head.
It was carved in the clay and cast in plaster.
I painted the inside, to be waterproof.
Then I cast the resin and fiberglass, and finally I put everything in a bucket with acid chloridric.
And I have had over part's clean.

The shoulders, arms and hands is made in PVC pipes

Seriously?! Wow, that's amazing. All the dirt gives it a cool "desperate battlefield surgery" vibe. I think going with that over clean was a good choice.

The whole thing kinda calls to mind a Hellraiser Cenobyte, for some reason. Super cool work.

On 22 October I attended Kid Expo for our partner Hasbro, where I could wear for the first time my 2-ZH.
Everything went well, no worries even after wearing it for 8 hours.
Thank you to poltrooper13 for assistance in dressing and friends of the 501st and RL for the escort. 8)
