Limited Run 10th Doctor Who David Tennant EYEGLASSES

You've been charged import duty on things you've received from me? That's a very rare occurrence...

Not really Indy, I never bought anything from you. I don't know why I thought you are based in USA. NZ is still outside EU, though. And I would most likely have to pay VAT and maybe even custom tariffs. When I bought 11th coat from Abbyshot, it was over 100 USD extra. I am from Czech Republic. But maybe your information are better if you send stuff to Europe often.

Glad to hear it will be a bit cheaper and still accurate, the mock up is looking very nice. Hope this run goes well so we can do Eleven's as well!

I would definitely be in for a pair...I'm looking at saving money anyways and I'm planning on saving for your suit as well...

Just so you know, if you do plan on making the sunglasses 'version', they are not the same glasses. In fact, quite different. More rectangular, for example, and a different material for the frames.

They're presented as being the same glasses in-show, though. They were just made with a spare prop close enough to the original spectacles.

So I guess it's either a screen-accurate or universe-accurate case.

The sunglasses look they have brown lenses... would you guys prefer this, or the more usual grey tint?

I would say 'screen-accurate' would win out as that's the whole point of a prop replica. To be a prop replica, not to be storyline accurate.

Yeah, but the first is more golden-brown and the second is a bit more reddish.

Indy-
My glasses are approximately 150 mm. Will you be offering larger size frames? I realize it's only a difference of 10 mm from you estimate from the screen capture but that can make all the difference when it comes to them fitting comfortably. Thank you.

For now, at least, we'll only be offering one size. I was thinking of using a spring hinge so the arms would stretch out a little bit, but I think the originals has standard hinges (which are stronger and easier to repair).

It should be 100% accurate if possible, which alas means Tennant sized, and the correct normal hinges. Also, I hope we won't see any branding on it, it will kill the look.
I seem to notice that Tennant's glasses are also quite thin and of a clearly semi-opaque material, as under light you can see the hinges. Note the link below on the left.
