Oh, I'm going to be watching this thread with interest. I like my Titanium collection Beast, but that looks nice!

On the whole, how user-friendly is the kit? I haven't put together any models in quite some time.

Unfortunately, the kit is about as un-user-friendly as they come. There have been several times I considered abandoning it because it's almost not worth the effort to build considering what a horribly executed and inaccurately mastered kit it is.

:cry That's disappointing. I was looking forward to getting this kit. Better to know now, and thanks for the information. I may reconsider it later, but I just have too many projects going right now to have to fight with a "horribly executed" kit.

Best of luck on your build :thumbsup

That is great work, you actually have made something brilliant out of a lump of coal and I know as I have one.

LOL I have one fore sale if anyone wants one :) Please....anyone....please?

Thanks! There's a lot more I could have done with it but, at some point, I had to decide how much perfume I was going to spray on the piece of sh.....

I also have one of these kits... unfortunately mine was missing the 4 landing bay end caps and fantastic plastic told me they did not have any to replace them with... so I have to decide if I should buy another kit and toss this one, or see if someone out there has extras :p

Consider yourself lucky. The landing bay end caps were not in the same scale as the ship. The end caps are wider, taller, and of a different cross-sectional shape than the body of the upper landing bays. Tons and tons of sanding and re-shaping are necessary to get the end caps to fit on the landing bays. In the end, your much better off if you scatch-build the end caps yourself.

Not bad at all I did one of those to,. have you tried the big 1/3700 scale yet its nice and big at 20" in length
,its a nice ship that you want to have if your a BSG fan.
