Commission build of my 1/48 kit for a customer, usually don't take on commission builds but considering doing it more often. This has the eye and the 4 head sensor domes illuminated via LED's. The switch is hidden in one of the top head laser cannons via a telescoping push on/push off switch. 9V battery is hidden in the hollow cast head. Trying to get better at photo set ups, kind of hard with these huge kits but here is a first crack at it.

thanks
mike

It looks great. I wish the toys they put out lately looked as nice as this kit. I always like this unique design, i think they were the first mecha without arms.

Awesome build Mike. Looks really good. Gotta love the Macross stuff. I'm thinking of doing a Spartan soon so this is really inspiring me.

Very cool.

I have one of the old ARII model kits in the closet waiting to be built that I got back in the early 80's.

The pod is one of my fav Anime designs, very original. Mike, I didn't know you made a kit of this. How big is it ?

Cheers,
Wasili

It is BIG!!! Lol. He makes a Glaug too, even bigger. Got both on my workbench, great kits, highly recommended.

I had the Glaug toy but it went to my little bro' when he became a fan....I tried recently to hit him up for it to see if it was worth doing some work on, but he played it to death. It was an honourable way to go for the toy (endless hours of enjoyment).
