I stop on the custom 1/48 X-wing ,as I am a little burned out on X-wings.So I going to finish my tie fighter build .I am working on the cockpit. I used photo etched and scratch build . The half moon looking part of the control is photo etched, the rest is scratch built

This is the seat which is modified in the back .And the back bulkhead , so a lot of people think that there is a window in the back bulkhead. It's actually a view or service port for the ion engine and speeds up the ions .and on the out side is the exhaust screen.for the back bulkhead I used one of the sides of the interior of the cockpit and cut a round discard glued them together.

The inner side walls are photo etched, but I did not paint the black like the kit decals I did it most in grey .Not sure that I like the way it turns out with all the red representing lights .I may use the inner sides from a tie kit that was damaged and go from there.
Let me know what you think use what I am going to show in the pic or the other route?

Lovely work, your ability to paint such small parts and details so cleanly is exceptionally impressive.

Cheers,
Josh
