UPDATE!!!!
Still moving on this. Body in progress; No pics yet.
Here're some of the latest headshots for your review, though - Hair's still rough, obviously, and to my eyes, the bill of the cap's a little thick. What do you guys think?

I'm loving this!
Here's the Latest:
My comments to the sculptor:
1. It appears as though the bill of the cap is too short and too thick - I've attached a photo for reference. (M1)
2. I think that the hair should be a little longer. (Again, see attached - M2)
3. His right eyelid (on our left) appears maybe a little sharp on the nose side - could that be softened?
4. Finally, I think that the chin still appears to recede too much toward the neck. A profile shot would help me judge a little better. The neck is also too thin. (I think you mentioned before that this would be taken care of when the body is added. If so, it's obviously a moot point.)
Your thoughts, please....
(I'm getting excited!)
After years of wanting to, I've finally commissioned a sculptor to create a 1/4 scale figure of Tom Selleck as Magnum in this pose:
In these clothes:
I've found the "Jungle Bird" shirt, and am looking for someone to reproduce the pattern at 1/4 scale. The sculptor will be making Magnum's Puma tennis shoes, and team ring (Which will be sculpted on the hand) and I'm making the POW bracelet. I'm not sure yet what I'll do for the Rolex GMT or the Jeans, but I already have an accurate belt (Yay for me!).
Anyway, here are the very first in-progress sculpts - A couple of quick notes. The Baseball cap will be sculpted on - (Sculptor forgot about that), and it appears to me that the lower half of the face is too narrow. Also the neck, of course, but the sculptor tells me that right now it's basically a placeholder until the body is sculpted.
Any other feedback is appreciated!
Thanks!
Oh - I've also thrown up some reference: It's at www.russellwalks.com/Selleck/mag001.jpg, continuing to mag040.jpg
