1/4 Boba Fett

Which 1/4 scale Fett are you talking about? The new Premium Format figure, or the old Screamin' vinyl kit?

Ah, OK. Well I built one years ago, and I'm no expert on vinyl figures, but it came out alright. Unfortunately due to a couple of moves, a few of my kits were pretty much unsalvagable, including this one.
Overall it wasn't bad. The biggest issue I had was with the overall proportions of the body. If you've seen pics of a completed kit, he's just too skinny. I don't know if there's really a way to correct that or not.

The Screamin' sculpt is based on reference pics in the Chronicles book. There is a pic with the same pose as the figure of a model wearing Fett's costume & the proportions are based on that model's body & not Jeremy Bullock which is why that figure is taller & slimmer than Jeremy Bullock. I have been trying to upload pics of my Screamin' Bobba model figure with the alterations I made to it, but have been having trouble. So, Gunpowder if you would like to see some pics... let me know your email addy & I'll forward some.

Oh man - this brings back memories...and not good ones.

I was so excited back in the 90s when the Screamin line was coming out. Finally something to sink my teeth into and build some nice Star Wars displays.

Boy was a wrong. First got the trooper. What a piece of sh**. I slaved over that thing. Closed in the football field gaps by the ariators on the helmet but the kit still looked terrible. Made a new gun because it was so out of proportion too.

But wait...then they came out with Boba...Cool. Another POS. Bad pose and like someone said...too skinny.

Who sculpted these things. I have no experience in sculpting and I could have done better!!

The Sideshow Boba is absolutely awesome.

Don't waste your time building either of these kits!!!!!!
