1/24th F-117 Scratch-build.....kind of?

This started out just as that but I decided I didn't like the
wings on the F-117. So I took the liberty of making new ones
and raising them up on the intakes. The F-117 is not that fast or maneuverable
but I wanted this concept to be!:lol I am going to add two stabilizers also to give it that big Tomcat look.thumbsup

basically just drawing templates cutting and fitting.

Thanks guys!

Ya I wanted the wings to have some angles, so they would match
the shape of the hull a bit.

I cut out the stabilizers and rounded over the edges, got
them scribed along with one wing.

No way we are currently doing the same things!!!:lol
This is just like your concept speeder cut and glue, cut
and glue!! I tossed at least 2 of these out before I got it
all worked out!!:$:thumbsup

Just goofing off today made some big panel lines,
because I feel lazy and they take up more space
quicker!!:lol I thought it would be nice to have the shape of the
panel match the shape of the space it was in, so I am going to carry
this theme for the panels.

For the fun of it I masked off a panels borders
and sanded away the primer in the middle,
kind of cool but I don't think this theme will
carry over into the finish but you never know!:lol
Probably end up with different shades of flat and semi
flat black......but thats up in the air for now!!
If you have any suggestions on paint throw them my way!

I like the new wings and tails. How about an engine upgrade?

It reminds me of the Colonial Raptor, which is a nice looking bird itself. Looks like a fun project, but it just has to be black!

Mike I have to go look at the Colonial Raptor.
No worries it will end up all black I want it to look mean,
yes it was a pain to deal with the angles for sure!!!thumbsup

Ok I made up the front canopy and flushed it in there,
I dremeled out the windows and then used a file.For
the glass I just used some clear plastic, to get a nice
reflective tinted look, I sprayed the backside of the
clear plastic.
