I know Jades put his info on the Raptor he received from Jesse, so I thought I'd add my input as well. I'm just getting to unpacking and cleaning everything, but thought I'd give those anxious for this kit my first impressions:
PACKAGING - Superb.. Everything was neatly wrapped and packaged, no damage at all (and there are a lot of parts)
FLASH/PIECES - Almost all of these parts are superbly cast, and very little flash exists. Cleanup is going to be a breeze. There are numerous 'clear' resin parts, and everthing is just superbly detailed. Ohh, and the Canopy ---- WOW.. Very nice Jesse... The 'bubble' looks just right.
INSTRUCTIONS/REFERENCE - On the CD, you'll get about 80 reference pics, ranging from inside, outside, and CGI. Looks like everything you need is nicely bundled. The instructions are all photographic. He labels all the parts, then has 'pages' that show exactly where everything goes. Perhaps one of the nicest looking instructions I've seen for a kit of this magnitude. I'll know more about how easy they are to follow once construction begins.
VALUE - Well, I've done several of these resin kits, and for the amount of pieces/parts and effort that went into this, it's my opinion this kit is a Bargain.. It WILL meet your expectations.
I hope to begin construction next week, but expect this to take a while to get together. I know Jesse is looking for quick feedback, and he'll get it, but we don't want to rush this beauty either. At first glance, this thing gets a 10+ rating from me. I look forward to putting her together.
Here's a few reference pics of the Parts Breakdown from my kit.

I'll begin a new page on my website soon to document the construction.
As always, other BSG buildups and stuff can be viewed at my site:
