Etched stuff looks awesome! I noticed that you changed the layout of materials on the b/w version and the gold one you posted previously, was there something that you had missed in the b/w version or something you realized you'd need more of? And speaking of quantity, ALL of the etched pieces will go on just one blimp or did you produce more for future use?

So I'm back from LA, and back on this for Wonderfest deadline!

This evening I textured the hull to give a fabric-like effect.

Looking good. I'm really looking forward to seeing you finish this. It's so difficult to make out the details in all the ref I've seen. It'll be nice to see it come together, especially with those video screens.

Looks like you're tempting fate with having something as dangly, spindly, wirey, and as frail ad the PE & LED leads just sitting in front of the kitty?? ARE you looking for a reason to off the feline?
