This thread is great. Once you are finished you should do a walk through video showing all of you amazing pieces.
 
Should get the bust in any day now... And should have the armor/arms next week

In the meantime here is a quick look at the last crucial addition to my collection before I launch a show off thread with all of the avengers displays completed in my new house



As soon as I can get the last of the Thor display done and moved in to the new place I will post video and pics of the new/improved man room

I love the hawkeye and black widow items. I'd love to get a bow like that!

I would like to see more pics if the Hawkeye set... How was the quiver made?
 
I'll post more pics when they arrive. He hasn't given me any details on what the quiver is made of. I'm assuming resin

I should be getting 8 arrows (each with a different tip) the bow and the quiver.

More pics to come soon on that and also on Thor.
 
Has anyone heard from Daz71 recently?

He said the bust was mailed out almost 3 weeks ago and I haven't seen it or heard from him since.

I know he has sold to several people on here. Just curious if anyone has heard from him or received their order yet.

It's been a rough week in terms of this project. The guy making the arms and armor has a lot going on and wasn't sure he could commit to finishing them and offered me a refund. Luckily he is a good guy and we worked it out

And then Daz is seemingly MIA and so is my package with the bust. I'm hoping it shows up soon because I'm in the process of moving and can't get a tracking number from him.

You remember me having the problems with the Thor items!
I ordered them in April or may couldn't get him to respond to hardly any of my emails or phone calls he sent em to me the beginning of this month!

I feel your pain...

Well lets pray he comes through. I know other people prior to this last run have received busts because I have held one.

Hopefully it's just delayed to to the hurricane or something.
 
It's now been over three weeks with out any response from Daz71 about my bust. Sounds like I'm not the only person who he is ignoring.

Since other people have received orders earlier this year I didn't think he was a scammer but its starting to look that way now.

What steps can I take to get him to communicate? Can the mods assist me?

If you have pay pal info that usually includes a phone number or alternate emails address ect.

Just to be clear my problems were with the hammer and helmet.... No correlation to the said Thor bust

Thank you for the suggestion. I looked back at PayPal but the transaction was so far back it isn't showing up now.

He kept telling me that he had issues dealing with customs and it took 3 weeks or so to get that cleared up after the 3-4 weeks it took to paint/finish it before shipping and since I bought the bust on eBay it took 10 days for the bust to get to him in the first place (after I paid) Now that its been 3 weeks since it supposedly was successfully shipped I can't even dispute it with eBay or my bank.

He is not communicating at all through PM or email. He never provided me a tracking number and on top of all that he didn't even send me a pic of the finished product before boxing it up (like I asked him to).

I did just find him on Facebook and sent him a private massage. In hoping its all a misunderstanding and he works with me on getting this issues resolved.

If he still ignores me after emailing him directly(4 times), using the contact me on his website to message him, a RPF pm and a Facebook message it will be clear that he has no intentions on fixing the problem.

Hopefully he will be a stand up guy who just hasn't checked his email for some reason.

I have high hopes that he will come through... As i was going through my situation i really thought that i had gotten ripped off turns out that the guy was just horrible at communication and customer service in general... How these people are so unconcerned is beyond me. They really take advantage of the paying customers kindness and patience...

I say put as much pressure on him as possible but don't lose faith just yet

Well no response from him yet. I really hoped Facebook would have made the difference. I just pinged him again.

I am starting to lose any hope that it's going to show up. It's starting to look like he got in over his head with his business and as a result has bailed out and has decided not to communicate.

Doubt he started out with the intention of being a scammer but that seems to be where he is ending up.
