Hey Guys,

Here's a fun 1:1 silicone bust I just finished... a Terminator T-1000 Robert Patrick. The pose was kind of based on a photo I had where he was being shot and his arms were out in that 'just been shot' pose. The arms are completely pose-able, so the client can always move them around as he likes ;) I sculpted a few shotgun and 45 'hits' and had them triple chrome plated.

I was lucky enough to use a first generation life cast from Winston's as the basis for my clay sculpt of Robert Patrick... so I can't take full credit for the sculpt on this one. I did alter a few things that were in big need and added some more textures, etc...

I love it! Where and how much did it cost to triple chrome plate the bullet shots?

I really do not know the exact price on any single piece I have chromed, to have these plated it has to be done in large batches that are not cheap at all. They have a hefty minimum and I just try to make it within that, but it always goes over :unsure But in the end, there is nothing like real chrome!

Outstanding likeness of Robert Patrick.
Nice to see a different character other than Arnold from the Terminator series done in a 1/1 scale.

Would love to see you do one of these with his head partially split in half & the classic chrome hook arm.:love

Perfect companion piece to your stage 4 and 5 T-800's.

The likeness is remarkable! I love that you've added arms. The arms actually give it a sense of motion. Bullet wounds are pitch perfect, probably the best I've ever seen.

Although a fine standalone piece, this will look even more impressive displayed alongside your Silicone Arnold.

Stupid awesome! You should sculpt one hand with the claw hook at the end.

He didn't have any shoulder patches. Just the lapd badge, nametag and the button toggles on his shoulder lapels and breast pockets.

Yup, the badge and nameplate is all he had. When he's getting blasted by the shotgun it hides those... but I threw in a badge anyhow for the client ;)

This bust was a lot of fun to work on... I think I might even re-visit the donut head version down the road. Or even the splash version?
