OH WOW! I knew it only a matter of time before we saw more Behind the Scene images! I love it! Makes me want to go back and redo everything! Thanks for posting!
You're still alive yet, so there's still time to redo.

In reference to the chairs rotating as a thought for unlocking locking etc easiest way is to just put a lever on side or slightly underneath.
But I've had 2 thoughts of ways you could do it more subtly and cooler, both envolve use of a inner and outer (outer being locked solid inner being the holding and moving part) tube for swivel base and some mechanism to lock the 2 together I'd possibly say electro magnet as quick easy and efficient.
And then to engage and release either a kick switch or idea I prefer is the use of 1 of the existing panel switches in cockpit to side of chairs pick one not in use then use that to engage and deactivate the locking mechanism.
I'll make this a little wider and do a test print to see how it looks and feels.![]()
You're still alive yet, so there's still time to redo.... Note the taped-off lines on the floor in the second shot, guiding them where to build the hallway.
Don't redo use this as Mark 1 cockpit which is for touring it will take alot of wear and tear.
I know you redoing the floor why not try and get a trailer body or something and mount it onto that so could be transported whole save a lot of time with putting together at different locations, would also look amazing going down the road could still construct access corridor up to the edge of the trailer for people to get on and off from.
Can you just imagine the cockpit pulling up to a stop sign next to you? That would be insane!
The trouble with having it built permanently is that would seriously restrict the venues it could show in. There's footage of the team having to load it out of personnel doors at one of the cons.
Well it should be covered up while transporting it around.
Are the panels they fabricated really that thin?
Looks like that approach would cut down on some serious weight.
This is the Pit that went on the gamble rig wasn't it? So I'd guess it had to be pretty lightweight for that purpose at least.

If not could always go for something like this http://simulatorhire.com/gal/UK_mobile_simulator_hire.jpg
