Re: 1:1 Millennium Falcon Console Replica

I can't believe this is in your living room! :) Checking this thread is one of the highlights of my day.

Hi C,

Thanks! :) That means a lot! Hopefully I can keep those "highlights" coming - especially over the next few days!

Can't forget this guy! :) This is what greets me everytime I open the garage door. I have it aimed at my neighbors house. He always gets a kick out of it when he comes outside. :)

I added a few extra holes and moved some of the switches but I tried maintaining the "SW" look!

Re: 1:1 Millennium Falcon Console Replica

Quick update

You can see in this pic the framed piece where the light bar is positioned - I'm going to hold off creating that particular piece until the parts are onsite/ with Chris Lee. He might have a better idea for what to do. I will simply create a "placeholder" and paint it white. At least then, all the panels will be able to mount to one another.

The bottom panel is also a temporary piece. The original panel has more height. Why? The console itself sits on a raised platform. I don't have the room to create something that large. Again, the panel is nothing more than a place holder. But all the other panels are to scale. :)

By the end of the weekend... I'm hoping to have A LOT of panels pinstriped! :)

Loving this. Question: Will the completed Falcon replica be available to the public for tours/visits? I've got three younglings that would go crazy to see/experience this. Plus I'm dying to make the jump to hyperspace, too. Just curious. I realize it's a ways off, but thought I'd ask.

Hi Jax,

I'm not sure "exactly" what Chris Lee's plan is so I will point you in the right direction. Head on over to:

Chris can answer any and all questions! :)

Re: 1:1 Millennium Falcon Console Replica

You are the pinstripe master!

LOL! I wouldn't say that... I had a really tough curve to cut. And I have 3 more of these... But thank you. :) CORRECTION: 6 more curves...

Progress... this was a tough curve. NOT happy with it
