Go silicone mold. you can remold both from it. If you want to cast silicone with silicone, you only need release spray. I did the same with my Yoda -(the one which inspired you)!!!thumbsup:thumbsup
Well guys, I'm about to make a mold here:love I've reduced a lot of the sharpness around the top and back of the head and increased the neck size a little.. All this I feel has enhanced the look that I'm going for.
Now to decide... Fibreglass mold or (Plat cure) Silicone mold? The idea to use it for a silicone puppet or a silicone or urethine rubber static display piece.

Thanks everyone and thanks Jorg for the pointers on molding... I'm considering molding Luke using Fibreglass and Yoda using Plat cure silicone, now.
I need to clear up one issue... I didn't decide to do a newer Yoda for any other reason but to improve on my V2... not trying to gain ground on anyone in particular and I have no axes to grind. However, just to dispel any doubts which is best out of my own versions heres a photoshop I did tonight. I know its not 100% lined up and the lighting isn't exactly the same (oh for great studio conditions) but I think this image, in my mind illustrates how close my V3 actually is to the original puppet
The V2 if lite right and photographed with favourable angles usually front on or three quater views looks very convincing as an original... However this V3 will show approvingly from ALL angles which the V2 will never do
