Really looking at the boot in the closeup picture on the mannequin,it kinda looks like they did paint them white, which adds to the weathering look, but just an opinion.

I really, really want to like the new design. However the chest and back plates (as so many here point out) lack any detail/imagination of what could be embedded in the armor. Like power units, audio/visual recording devices, internal cooling and life support systems that the original armor...

Yeah, I too tagged the guy and no response, putting the Frank Bat together for SD Comic Con 2014 and gathering info I have several different types of swatches I have ordered for material testing, if any of them look right, ill pass on the info :)
