Question... What are you planning to do with the internal wing mechanisms? I'm just wondering if there's enough tension on the wings to hold a folded position without the orginal toy mechanics, or will you have to build something to facilitate this? Very impressive work going on here.

I LOVE your Falcon! It looks spot on with the studio! I will say though, I think I like yours better. Your maintenance pits are darker than the original, and to my eye it gives the look of the ship a little more contrast. Outstanding work, and I really like your pics.

Haha well..sometimes I just place the model at an angle on top of a pair of linty flannel pants, and then mess with the exposure/contrast until looks kinda outer spacey.

I've been painting/airbrushing with acrylics for about 30 years, and have never had a problem with either fumes or smell. Thanks for your concern though. If I need to use a rattle can, or something like that, I use my garage.

I put this together for less than $30 including the turntable, and light... It doesn't look like much, but she's got it where it counts...
