I've been using Smooth on Epsilon and 65d for a little bit now, and I just got curious if anyone has used a coat of epsilon, followed by a coat of 65d for rigidity.
I like how Epsilon covers up lines, but I'd prefer my foam pieces to be a bit more rigid once built.
I'm not entirely sure the cost of these, but I do believe this is the same EVA foam most Americans use for their foam builds. The dimensions are very close to the same EVA floor mats we use here.

Add supports to the inside. Go to Walmart and buy some really thin dowel rods, and then use Pepakura to measure distances between two points on a few key areas. cut your dowels to that length and then glue them in place with just a tiny bit of hot glue, so you can easily remove them later. This...
I've done something similar with some mesh fabric from Jo-Anns. I've also used screen door mesh before, so you couldn't see inside my power armor helmet.
Where do you get this type of tooling foam? Can it be bought in stores?
I've been looking for something similar to this to make Fallout props for a while now.
Cut the lines at a sharper angle than what is shown on the paper. You basically have to a v shape that goes as deep as those lines do, but make sure it comes together at a point, and not a flat part like the picture.
A lot of people use the Silhouette SD and Cameo for pepakura, I don't know why anyone in this thread doubted that, even back in 2012. I've had a Silhouette SD since either 2010 or 2011 and I've printed and cut at least 100 pages between 5 costumes, and I've only replaced the blade twice, for...
I've been cutting EVA foam with my scroll saw for a couple of years now. I've always used a really fine toothed blade, and over time the teeth wear down enough it pretty much becomes smooth, but still cuts well.. There really isn't a better way to get precise angles with foam imo.
I will say...
