Hey guys, thought i'd bring this thread back to life again and show my newly acquired indy prop collection. I've been collecting him for a couple of years now, but have just recently discovered the fantastic replica props that have been available in the past and right now. Excellent collection, love all the same movies you do. The 80's and 90's had some great original themes, not the reboot genre we are choking on right now.
I remember reading about your indy fertility idol awhile back, it's a gobler is'nt it?
I was able to get one also, pretty sure anyway, do you know how many were made for goblers run (s) of these. They are a beautiful looking idol, and match the one we see in the movie very well.

You are correct. Gobler idol. I've owned 4 Goblers. Two from his first run which both had degassing bubbles form. Then I owend 2 from his third run. In total he has done 3 runs of idols and is not doing anymore. I believe that Serednad now owns his molds and "right" to cast the idols. The Gobler idols are, so far, the all around most accurate idols made. They have retained the correct size/height though the mouth and baby were slightly reworked because of a poor original casting. The recent idols are all about 1/2-1" too short. Thanks for the compliments.
