I have been absent for a while in Europe and what not. Anyhow I have completed the bombs/grenades, I may try to use magnets to attach them. Thank you all for the suggestions as I was intending to use velcro.
I completed my 4 year olds Beck costume (the one where Beck is all in black) and I completed my 5 year olds Rinzler costume. Discs are complete, thanks Soulinertia for all the kits. This is an older pic and I have made some improvements to the costume. Unfortunately the camera does not capture the blue very well.
Does anyone know where to get orange light tape? I have been buying everything from ellumiglow and orange has been on back order forever. I tried EL Wire Craft UK and their orange looked washed out. My back up plan is to make my wifes costume out of LEDs instead of light tape.
If you are going to be at Disneyland's halloween party Oct 11 you will probably see all four of us.

No I had a friend build it up for me....I did put in the rare earth magnets and paint job and then attached it

I SO need a new kit for my Quorra disc from you. Mine is not looking good. I just need to replace the outter clear ring actually.

Sorry it took me so long, I am finally posting the 2nd version of my Siren Gem costume. The suit is now rubberized with two different colored Metallic liquid latex in silver and pearl white and painted on by hand. My suit now lights up with Flat Lite Tape supplied by LUMINOUS FILM. This Lite Tape is absolutely the best I have seen. You can bend it completely in half and at 90 degree angles without damaging the tape. Try it if you are going to light up your TRON costumes!
I have also entered my costume into theRPF 2013 Halloween costume contest. Please wish me luck and when voting opens, please cast a vote for me in the Female Category, appreciate it!

I've seen someone at Fanime the last two years doing a hooded Kevin Flynn. He had the light rigged up so he could change it's colors. Pretty interesting. Not sure if I got his picture or not, but I'll post it if I find it.

had a question! just spent the past two hours reading through this thread and i'm not even 25% through it haha. I'm going to be using reflective tape just like Annissë's first costume (it's for school and as much as i'd love to use EL wire it's not necessary). SO! my question was first did anyone end up finding any aqua colored reflective tape, and second, the white looks great when photographed the right way but otherwise in normal light it just looks like a black costume with white tape on it right? that's why i'm really interested in finding aqua! all the blue i've seen has been a dark almost navy blue and while it glows the right color in daylight my costume would just look boring

Another great Gem creation!
My wife was Quorra last year at work and won a $75 gift card.
The costume she has was the Disney costume and was modified to hold the disc on the back. Obviously there are no lights and I did a photoshop'd background. If you do a new rendition of her costume would love to see it so we could do something with the back as the costume has nothing on the back.
I did some mods to Sam's Disney costume but still needs a lot of work. I bought some of hexagon fabric and will attempt to do a ground up build next year with all the lights that you and everyone else has been working on and seeing Fireslayer's work - helps. LOVE EVERYONES WORK HERE!!!
