Re: 2012 TMNT Replica Costume Sculpt **LEO early stages**

Thanks guys! It has been an amazing year so far, and I finally got a chance to sit down and work on this sculpt. I attempted to bring all your suggestions out in the sculpt. Let me know what still needs fixed before I move on to texturing!

Thanks for all your help RPF'ers!!

Re: 2012 TMNT Replica Costume Sculpt **2013**

I would make the cheek dimples a little more subtle. I understand the texturing process will make it stand out less too, but it seems a bit too defined.

Re: 2012 TMNT Replica Costume Sculpt **2013**

Thanks TMG and Welmanshire! I will tone it down, thats an easy change. Thanks for the feedback once again

Bumping the pics to the new page!

Re: 2012 TMNT Replica Costume Sculpt **LEO FINISHED**

whoa. looks pretty good. the lip curl could be a little rounder as well as the nose but it is definitely Leo. nice work. do you add any texture around the eyelids? i never noticed on the other sculpts.

this is pic is great.

I wish I waited to hear back from you, but I already started molding:behave
I tried once to add texture to the eyelids, however I went back to a smooth clean texture because I felt it looked cleaner. Its pretty tough to texture when its in a deep undercut. Thanks again for all you help!

That is totally cool! :D Very awesome!

Thanks bud!:)

Excellent sculpt!!! wow!
Thank you sir!

Man, you're hitting these out of the park. :)
I'm glad you approve! You have helped me out so much:)

Update:
Molding has started...If I have enough material I may finish it this weekend.

Re: 2012 TMNT Replica Costume Sculpt **LEO FINISHED**

Really great job, this thread is a lot of fun to read.

Thank you. I'm glad to hear people are still enjoying it!

Looks great, may I ask what the width and length of the head is?

Thank you! I will have to back and check. It will be easy to measure the Leo Sculpt once I finish molding it.

I am in awe of the awesomeness of that room. So amazing.

Hahaa, this hobby is filling the room quickly!

UPDATE:

Been super busy this past weekend getting Raph ready to ship down to Texas for PAINT!!!
Guess what's in the box...

IT'S MORE WORK FOR JACOB!!!:lol:lol
RAPH will ship out first thing tomorrow.

Leo's head mold should be finished by this weekend and maybe even the first cast. Then on to the final turtle!

LATER RPF'ers

Re: 2012 TMNT Replica Costume Sculpt **RAPH is ready for Paint**

Are you going to be offering the Leo masks to RPF members and if so how much? Will the finished piece have a movie one style paint job and real cloth bandanna with acrylic eyes?
