Sorry lady, you're husband followed an established process and merely assembled the costume. That's why there was more than just him with the exact same suit.

I think it's rather shocking you didn't even place. You're right about the Iron Man builds though, they're fun to do and it's awesome to say you have an Iron Man suit (which is exactly why I'm building one) but it's been done a million times and I certainly wasn't the first and I certainly won't be the last to do it. At least yours showed originality which is why it shocks me you didn't even place. I think this build is amazing and you did a fantastic job!

What is it about that costume this year? We had one win 3k at the party I went to. My wife and I were in the final 6 but didn't take home any prizes.
 
Saw you last night downtown. Awesome costume man!

The Edward costume was good, but he goes as the same thing every year. I was digging the big bad wolf.
 
Thanks for the replies! I was in an Egotastic article this morning titled "Most Creative Costumes". I'm not sure I can post the link though because the site has adult content.

Maybe some of the other blogs will pick me up too.
 
I was proud of my meager attempt at my first WIP, now I look much the rookie. Excellent work sir. It was nice to find the thread now and see it from beginning to end.
