I just thought this free downloadable PDF by Joe Fugate could be of interest to many here, especially chapter 2 which has conversion charts for approximating Floquil colours with Model Master, Vallejo and MODELflex paints.

For a while ModelFlex and Tamiya were the paint at ILM. I think many have switched to TruColor and Archive X.

Oh sure, but there are people who like to mix their own, and if they like Vallejo then this gives them the mixes, plus I could nip to a local model shop to pick some up if the fancy takes me. TruColor has a single UK supplier which means the potential for shortages here, and it's the same for ArchiveX through Element Games which currently shows half of the single colours won't be available for 3 weeks. The PDF also has tips on using acrylics some might not be familiar with.
