STAR WARS Rebels new animated series!

MJF where can this be purchased? i have a friend who is a thrawn nut, he's gonna flip when he sees this

Its not out yet. Its going to be a SDCC exclusive. So either at the con or on eBay for twice the price. Sometimes Hasbro has extras and they sell them direct, but I doubt they'll be able to do it with this one.

Sometimes people here offer to pick up con exclusives for other RPFers, but the Hasbro booth usually has one of the biggest lines. Expect to wait for hours to purchase something.

hmmmm... i wonder if he would spring for it at ebay prices

I'm amazed at the exclusive poster prices! some of them are listed for 200 bucks!! i was hoping to grab one, but once i heard exclusive i realized i have no chance lol

Although the set is a comic con exclusive, I believe like the other exclusives, the figure will be included in the black series line without all the extras.

I stopped collecting figures (gave them all to my nephew when he was younger), but I HATE exclusives of anything. It's like they intentionally want to tick off their fan base!

"Bring me the head of Jar Jar Binks!!!"

"Hell, I'll bring you twelve."

That's Jar Jar-ist.

I am both offended and appalled. or at least doing a very good job of acting like i am....

really, it doesn't bother me at all, but i think this is how replies online are supposed to go these days. am i doing it right? :)

Watching the Pablo and Filoni panel and he says Lucas was the one who wanted Maul back in CW! I was not aware of that. Might be tough for those people that think Lucas is perfect and blast Filoni for bringing him back! ;)

Lucas was executive producer from start to finish. Most of the story ideas were his. That's why Jar Jar appeared in a dozen or more episodes.

Dave Filoni revealed that Season 4 will be portrayed on our TV screens in a manner not seen in any previous season of the series. He said that after several episodes in, Season 4, which brings Rebels to a conclusion, will take viewers on one long journey that basically plays out like one extended story arc.

http://www.jedinews.co.uk/film-musi...ing-rogue-one-scarif-battle-star-wars-rebels/

After fans got to see the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels joining the battle above Scarif during the epic conclusion of director Gareth Edwards’ Rogue One, the idea of Dave Filoni and his crew possibly developing a version of this battle from the viewpoint of the animated series in a future season was brought up by Entertainment Weekly.
We can now put those ideas to rest as Filoni offered up the following comments to Slashfilmwhen asked this very question at Celebration Orlando 2017:
“I don’t think that would be right. It would be to hinge this series end on a battle we’ve already seen the outcome of in a feature film. It would be a little bit repetitious, anticlimactic. I think as an initial impulse it sounds great. But the more you think about it, you go hmmmm I don’t know, it would kind of taper your expectations and the tension would be cut quite a bit. I like our ending. And I love that battle. I think it would be neat to see that battle one day from the Ghost’s perspective because we know the Ghost is there, but we don’t know who is in the Ghost. So that’s kind of a good question that needs to be answered.”
Filoni was also asked about the prospects of the planet Jedha making an appearance in Rebels as well as his thought process behind including Edrio Two Tubes in the animated series, who was seen briefly in the Season 4 trailer. So be sure to take the provided source link for the rest of Filoni’s comments on these topics.

A epilogue of sorts, probably an opportunity to give Kanan and Ezra a story conclusion independent of that of the Ghost Crew.

I think it simply means that the first few episodes of the season will be episodic as usual. After that, it sounds like the remaining episodes will play out like one long multi episode story.

This should make a lot of people happy who complained that the show lacked an arc (which was not true) because it did not have multi episodes in the way that later seasons of Clone Wars did.
