I know this is quite an old thread but I finally made my own red Swingline. Only took me getting an office job where I have a cubicle to motivate me to finally make it. I used a 90s off white colored 646 as the base, wetsanded the logo and texture off the plastic top, then hit both parts with 4 light and 1 heavy coat of Rust-Oleum Automotive grade Cherry red acrylic enamel, letting dry for at least 2 hours between each coat, then letting dry for like 2 days before putting it back together.
Decals are from ssdesigner and look absolutely perfect. He included 2 logos and 2 stripes.
This is going to look so great on my desk at work, just hope my boss doesn't come by and steal it.

Thanks so much ssdesigner for the amazing decals! I bought these so long ago and ended up giving the stapler to my brother. Been missing it ever since. So when this thread popped back up I just had to get some more. And just in case anyone is interested, these are 100% accurate and perfectly scaled to the screen used prop.
