Planet Explorer

i built a king tut mask for school a long time ago, used a Styrofoam head as the base. sprayed it with gold spray paint and went to bed. woke up to a horror scene, face look like someone splashed acid on it. this was the memory in my mind when i was thinking of you spraying those foam wall pads. :)

Wow, that's too bad.:eek When I built a ship hull, I put the car filler over hard styroform, it was melted too.
So I'm curious why didn't it happen this time.:confused
I think that the food tray is something different with just a styrofoam.

OK, here are some updates of last few days.
I've started the instration of the cockpit.

Floor.

Watch your forehead!

OK, let's get them together.

Light it up.

That was a little tough build for me but if you like it, I'm so happy.
Any of your comment, suggestion, advice and questions are welcomed.

Thanks for looking,

katsu

Sorry to say it but i don't like it katsu-san.

I LOVE IT .. The lighting it just brings it to life.
So much to look at... Wow...
Always a pleasure to look at progress like this.

Greetz,
Jim.

That's just stunning. I love the metal skyscraper walls being used for light panels. I think I may have the same kit lying around... was that intended to be the Chrysler Building?

Katsu-san, I keep forgetting how small this model actually is until I see a hand or finger in the picture. The intricate details make it look so much bigger. And the lighting looks fantastic.
