Planet Explorer

Another fabulous build. I love that you take the time to show and explain how you do so much of this. Thank you for that.

Sorry to getting back late.
We had a historical heavy snow these days and some of the places were in a complete caos.
:wacko

Katsu-san, Please build me a padded cell of my own on the explorer. Today I need a place where I cannot hurt myself or others LOL

Aha, just like me, you've been frustrated these days.
OK, I'll get you a good compertment in the vehicle for you, Mikeee-san. The sight of an unknown planet where no one ever been before will give you a good serenity.:D

Hi Katsu, when I was a child I remember running home from school to watch johnny socko and his flying robot. Was this a big deal in Japan or was it for American audiences.

I also would use a flashlight as a beta capsule and pretend to be Hyata and become Ultraman.

Oh, wow! That is the TVshow I loved to see. Here In Japan, it was run as "Giant Robo" of famous manga creator ' Mutsuteru Yokoyama' who created the famous anime 'Tetsujin 28 gou'

Also, I loved Ultraman so much. Of course I use my pen light to be Ultraman.:lol
Well, how old are you anyway? :D

Sorry about a less progress and boring pics but thanks for looking.

Katsu,

beautiful, Katsu-San. I am always amazed at how much detail you put into such a small space!

Thank you for your support Alex-san and Smiling otter-san,
It took many hours to build those small parts with my awkward hands.
That handrail was quite a job for me.

I'm 53 born in 1960 when everything was kinda cool, lol. I mostly build Ma.K now but I dabble in other sci fi.

l was born in 1957 and YES, I agree, 60's are still gold for me!

I've just apply primer and the base color.
I thought the primer might harm the wall padding.
I but it seems ok. It wasn't harmed by the primer for sure.:thumbsup

The base color,tan.

Thanks for looking.

With the primer and paint on the padding looks great.
The rough edges give it a good look. Great progress.
How much of it can be seen when the explorer is finished?

Hi! Caretaker10-san,
Thanks for looking.
Huum, I think it's a bit too lough but, well, it's ok this time.:D
I'm going to build a lounge and a dining room etc with that padded wall.

All the best.
