My SS TIE Fighter

Aaand done! I've finally finished my TIE-Fighter. There's a few parts that are wrong and driving me nuts but I'll have to learn to live with the mistakes.

I want to say a big thank you to Tsophika, dirtydave, joewhite, Govner, Alonzo Fonzo, monsieur tox and Beaz for all the help you guys have given me over the years! I'm sorry if I missed anybody. Also, thank you to the original TIE detectves, the ones who figured out most of the parts and did all the hard work to figure this stuff out. Thank you, without everybody before me and everybody who directly helped me, my TIE-Fighter would not have happened.

So on with the pics. Sorry these aren't better quality, I just have my phone. Also, it's funny how light the paint looks in most of these photos. It looks a lot different in person.

Muito louco swgeek!!

Thanks everybody!

Scott Graham for the cockpit and window frame I used Archive X Lark Light Grey, for the lighter grey pieces I used a 60/40 mix of Archive X Dark Reefer Grey and Light Reefer Grey and the blue is a custom mix I had color matched to an ILM built TIE-Fighter I had access to.

Kinda sad to see this one finished Jonathan. Have enjoyed the slow methodical approach to your build. And the technical aspects of your patterning and mold making.

Congratulations on a job well done. The result is fantastic.

I especially love the lights!

What an incredible piece of work...!!

Detailed, accurate, hand crafted, no 3D printing, molds, carvings, castings....high end professional scope and finalised...!!

An absolute joy to follow and see completed. Inspiring work....!!

Well Done....!!!... (y)

Not sure how I missed your final update on this... This is amazing Jonathan! You did a spectacular job on it! I'm in total awe of the work you did, and totally blown away by it! I can't wait to see your updates on the other projects! Great job! Thanks for sharing your build with us along the way!

What you need is
Yeah not sure how you missed it. I'm kidding. Thank you Jason, I really appreciate it.
What you need to stick on the plinth is a screen used Imperial crest from a Tie Fighter on Andor...
